Literature Text

Past the loneliest tides
In the deepest of seas
Is where truth resides,
Is where love is said to be.
In the crests of foaming waves
On the floor of green oceans
Is where love is said to prey
For every man and woman
Willing to withstand grave weather
And fight the undertows-
As long as they are together,
Love cannot help but grow.
It becomes weak and weary in storms,
Determined to not fade and die;
Love makes the cold shoulder warm,
Watching seagulls and past mistakes fly by.
True love can never leave,
Only become stronger and so much more;
Love as deep as oceans cannot help but cleave
To the washed and worn yet resolute shore.
